same here.. minimal debt that could be paid out of savings at any time, no house or car payment.. I'm set.

my wife is a survivalist - knows how to hunt, trap, spin fiber in to yarn and thread, build. we're heading in to the woods if it gets bad ;)
that said, a lot of family members are on fixed incomes. i don't want to see them get hurt and suffer because of political bullcrap. if there is a bluff to be called, maybe the republicans are being brilliant (maaaaaaybe). if not... jeez, that's a terrible thing to do to people that are already suffering under the economy.
