To be fair, they had this leverage 7 months ago and punted it away.

Just becuase it could happen doesn't mean any of these guys have the ability to do so.
and the only real winner coming out of this is McConnell who again got in the mix and got a deal.
Boehner tried and failed miserably. Obama seemed to get involved and piss people off...Reid and McConnell who work well together in the old style of "Let's not be fucking idiots"
