thing for the representatives because most of them don't seem to have an understanding of what they are doing and what the consequences are, beyond I signed a pledge that I won't raise taxes and I'm sticking to it. People always say they want to cut spending and taxes, but they also continually say they don't want their social programs cut. What we have here is a failure to communicate.
