Yeah, I'm sure you're all shocked.

I want more clarification on how the downgrade YAC yards for a QB. I'm fine with great play by a receiver for extra yardage (and/or a TD) resulting in less credit for a QB. I don't like it if a QB is penalized for identifying an open receiver who just has to run in a straight line for the TD. I'm unclear on how the factor in YAC, just that it is a factor in their system.

The easy solution is to give the QB credit until the receiver breaks a tackle or makes someone miss a tackle.
