It looks like Approach is a database program not a spreadsheet, so I think the Microsoft counterpart would be Access and not Excel. -- nm

- Depending on what you actually have to do with the database, it's not too hard to learn in general. -- nm - Dano Aug 6, 14:46

I believe this is correct. Lotus 1-2-3 was the spreadsheet program before the Lotus Office Suite was discontinued. - ty97 Aug 6, 13:53
