here is a little dilemma for the legal minds of ST

lets say you have a criminal in custody, the person has abducted a 7 year old boy and you don't know if the child is alive somewhere or not, so you put pressure on the suspect in the interogation, you even threating him with abuse if he don't give up the wereabouts

at the time the boy is dead but you don't know that and after a while you get the body's wereabout the man is convicted and get a life sentence later

how much money would you think the criminal sould recive couse the treatning of torture is a violation of his human rights and constitutional rights?
