He said, "The fact that he chose them.. there's no way I'm going to wish him well. There's no chance of that."

The Jets had every chance to sign him and have plenty of cap space to make him a fair/good offer. They refused to negotiate with him for the last year and when he became a free agent they only offered him the minimum. They knew he wouldn't take it.

He played well for us and I'm sorry to see him go. Especially since now the Jets are going to go with unproved talent at the DE position.
