not the same.

do you know redmond's neighbor's name? where he actually lives? the names of all his dates? he may share, but it's more about his actions than details of individuals.

when he posted a pic of someone he was talking with off a dating site, he put it in flickr instead of linking the listing; and there were no identifiers. (not saying that would have been ok with everyone, but at least there was some privacy kept.)

maybe i've missed, but i don't recall ever seeing a link to a non-ster's facebook info. usually, it's flickr or the like; and there are no identifiers.

again, though, once someone chooses to friend others, add their names + photos, etc., their privacy expectations should be lowered.

i only know for sure what i'm ok with. :) -
