we got a stearns & foster with sort of a built-in pillow top that has a memory foam layer a couple layers down. we LOVE it but

get really, REALLY hot on it. (not like that, pervs).
i wake up boiling more often than not.
memory foam and i think pillowtops are generally known for retaining heat like that so if you sleep hot anyway, that may be something for you to keep in mind.
