yeah.. there used to be more restaurant/chef profiles, see some of their dishes.. early Emeril was pretty creative.

they even had Julia Childs reruns, IIRC.

Overall, I felt like it had more interesting cuisine.. it was about the food, not about personalities. Bobby Flay, despite being a supposedly talented chef, is one of the most offensive on-air characters up to this point and is such a huge part of the network, not to mention Ray, Dean, and the rest...

On the note of Dives, etc.. that show actually shows real cooks/chefs doing their thing.. THANK you!
