and secondly, do i understand what you're suggesting, in that if I set up RSS feeds, people followign my blog will get emails or other notifications when I post? That's the main thing I'm concerned with. The blog clearly shows recent posts on the right side of my blog, and it's set up for archives (if i have done it correctly as I believe that I have) ...

I'm just wanting to make sure that it's set up so that people will know when new posts are made and that they don't have to always check in to see ...

no. they use a feed reader to see your RSS feeds. they need to subscribe in some way to get emails (see feedburner), afaik -- nm - kare Aug 19, 12:32 5
