I was swapping cars at my mother's house before driving to NY, and as I got out of the car, a car on the road hit a squirrel... but only just, in the head area. The next 30 seconds were an exceptionally painful looking attempt by the squirrel to... something. Lots of frantic jumping, standing on its head, flopping and spinning in every which direction. I was literally about to go look for a shovel or something just to end it for the poor dude when he stopped and laid down in the road. Fucking depressing, that was.
