trip over there to recycle and stock up. The only diet they had was cherry - the new shipment will be in tomorrow!?! Okay, I'll be back that way to the produce market in a couple of days so I can get it then.

Grumble, grumble to the cashier about advertised specials not being in stock.

"Oh, would you like a rain-check?"

"Well, I was planning on coming back for it"

"Let me give you a rain-check and if you do come back you can save that for later. How many should I write it for - is 8 okay?"

Hell yes!! Enough soda to last me 'til about Christmas at $2.25 a 12-pack. And...I made enough on the recycling to pay for the first 4.
