i guess we don't know. just, as someone who has worked in marketing for years, you usually try to measure success and decide on future approaches

at least, that's the smart way to do it.
yes, there is the occasional campaign that is a shot in the dark and it fails miserably. but they don't do the same thing over and over and over and over again. plus, PETA is a non-profit organization, so it seems like they'd be *extra* careful about that.
but yes, i am guessing. :)
