So, other than the earthquake yesterday, the other thing that happened is that my work contract ran out of money.

So we have to stop work immediately. Funding may come in a few weeks. Meanwhile, I got switched to another contract. (this is what defense contracting companies are supposed to do when you run out of work, unlike what happened at my LAST place).

The new one is interesting work (database stuff), and likely means I'll spend less time on ST during the day starting next week. Some of you will be thrilled. enjoy the break.
