they keep locking themselves out of him. the "security feature" of "autolock if doors re-close" was only on 2001.5 cars and they're not used to it either.
thank the gods for AAA for me. thank the gods for slim jims for them.
what I have learned VWs in the last few years is this:
1) go to a VW mechanic. or the dealership. it costs more, but it's worth it.
2) use ONLY german parts. if there's a less costly japanese option, say "no thank you, I would like to pay more."
I wound up re-repairing some things done in NH because my garage used non-bosch parts. they just don't fit right into the mechanics, even though they should. for performance mods, japanese. to drive: german.
