i got off my train to transfer to the northbound line, and the platform was pretty empty. just as i go to the stairs i saw a bum. i was totally on auto-pilot and it took me a minute to understand what i was seeing. a woman was squatted down and peeing. on the platform. right at the bottom of the stairs. i was, literally, dumbfounded. i just sort of stopped while my brain processed and then went up a different set of stairs.
