us debt as a percentage of gdp is somewhere around 100%. but america has some good advantages as far as carrying that goes...

since we fund ours in the same currency that we print and since our debt is still assumed to be a safe haven by most of the world, we're in a much better position than the eurozone as far as keeping the ball in the air.
