Back on B3 or B4 you were arguing with Lucie about hurricanes. You said cars weren't allowed on the roads when the wind was stronger than 45mph. That's just wrong. If it were true, we wouldn't be allowed on the roads 25% of the time.
We're under a "red flag" warning now and have been for the last 2 days. That means we have a bunch of dry thunder/lightning storms coming through. It's so dry--humidity is only 5-15%--that the rain evaporates before it gets over the mountains. Plus we're having sustained winds of 40-50 mph with gusts in excess of 60. Those things together add up to conditions being right for explosive range/forest fires. In the winter we get blizzard/blowing snow warnings with the same kind of winds.
Heck, I've driven up I-65 between Bowling Green and Elizabethtown running parallel to a tornado and my car was getting blown all over the road. So, unless this is some kind of crazy Indiana law (like dst) I'm calling you on it. ;p
