erph, hump day is another beast entirely. I don't know if filtering individual words would make it more palatable.

I guess it would depend on some sort of mechanism for having "levels of Safeness".
Level 0 = uncut.
Level 1 = tiny-fonted swears on board listing
Level 2 = censored swears on board listing, not censored in the post itself
Level 3 = censored both in the listing and in the post
Level 4 = entire matching subject lines are blocked out, but can be clicked on to read the post unaltered
Level 5 = same as level 4, but with Level 3 on the post
Level 6 = entire matching subject lines are blocked out, and opening the post asks you to confirm that you're sure you want to see it
(Note that Level 4 is sort of like an auto-detected scribble)
