I've never read Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged. Should I? Is there a recommended sequence?

Weird that I have read so many books, but nothing by Ayn Rand.
Responses:
FWIW, I recommend Fountainhead first, Atlas second - this is also the order in which they were written -- nm

Forget about both of them and just read "The Source" by James A. Michener. -- nm

i tried to read fountainhead but only got a couple hundred in. i've heard it's an easier read than atlas shrugged, though.

The first time I read "Atlas Shrugged" I nearly gave up...

I *did* give up. Glad I got through it on the second try, years later. -- nm

I haven't read Fountainhead either... but will swing by the used bookstore today. Atlas is mandatory, mandatory. But I defer to others as to sequence -- nm
