I think I have a bigger problem with them not listening to the beta testers.

It's my understanding that the changes, especially the changes to the boards, were nearly universally panned by the beta testers. That they went ahead with launching it without making (any?) changes makes me curious why they beta tested in the first place. The way it all (seemingly) went down leads me to only one conclusion. Ken Kutaragi took over HSX after his departure from Sony.
