I won't fault JLA #1 for what it is. But Flashpoint turned out a huge steaming pile of crap.

Flashpoint failed to carry the weight of Crisis, even though it basically had the same "nothing happened, everything's back to normal" ending.
Justice League of America #1 is the cornerstone to a new universe. Fine. Whatever. I think DC's desperate attempts to shoehorn Cyborg into relevance are... well... desperate. It's a grab for diversity. Couldn't they add a couple of other characters just to not make it so obvious? I am pleased to see, at least, as Spawn hoped that JLA #1 is a flashback. That will help new readers somewhat.
Regardless, I fault the entire reboot for being a reboot. But having lost everything I had invested in these characters means that I cannot stick around.
