In a few weeks, we're having an afternoon office outing to a local food festival, and technically we can bring friends/sig others if they buy their own ticket. However, he's the only one bringing a non-coworker.

He just started working here 3 weeks ago, so like me, he still doesn't really know anybody at the office. Is it just me or is he making a poor choice to bring the girlfriend? Personally, I'm looking forward to bonding with my coworkers and forging friendships during the fair.
