Go big or go home. Start with chopsticks with directions to the Chinese restaurant wrapped around them (she meets him there)

then have a small wooden box (puzzle if she would prefer) with a nice piece of jewelry in it at dinner. End the night with a paddle inscribed with "I've been naughty" :)
