In response to "Dear Prudence: A creeping suspicion tells me to keep my father-in-law away from my kids. Should I listen to it?" by Beaker

two big concerns - one, why does he only want to take the daughter and not the son?! and, two, I am always suspicious of people

who strongly/repeatedly try to convince others that they have changed by using words. actions show that, not just words.

I'd totally be suspicious, and she can easily say no to unsupervised contact.
