Google+ requires a profile be public and that it use your real name. But beyond your real name (or a convincing fake) every piece

You can determine on a very granular level who sees what.
It is MUCH better than FB at allowing this.
But G+ must come up with a way to allow pseudonyms. There are gamers who will want to include their gamer friends in circles but who don't want and should have to share their real name with people they don't know well.
