I'm sure I would find this rather creepy if I had been alive then.

Not being so, it's hard to identify with the trauma of that day and avoid simply grooving on the historical novelty of such a place.
(I would totally post a picture of myself obnoxiously pretending to set up a sniper's position in the grass)
