Ummm.....yes. They also have had several seasons in the last 15 where they refused bowl bids which I've never seen any team do.

.....the only special games they get invited to when they meet lower standards is the BCS games where they then get rolled by legitimate top 10 teams.

There's only 5 games they have a special clause for; otherwise, they, like every other team is at the whims of the bowls.
