I missed christmas the last two years which means that I have in the bank two extra months of christmas. I can:
extend christmas by two months this year
extend it by one month the next two years
extend it a week for eight years
extend it two weeks for four years (etc etc etc)
call it a sunk cost and just have normal christmas.

(I favor one week extra for eight years, I think. but I *hate* people who put their trees up early. I might go to 1/11 instead of frontloading.)
