In unimportant MLB news, minor league journeyman, Crash Davi....I mean, Valentino Pascucci, has been called up to the majors.

32 year old Pascucci (or Scooch, as he's fondly referred to by me) had a cup of coffee with the then Montreal Expos back when he was 25, but hasn't seen The Show since.

He owns a career minor league OPS of .884, which includes 234 minor league home runs. Over the last 7 seasons in AAA he's put up a line of .275/ .393/ .509. A first baseman and DH, he may just be a Quad-A masher, but still it's nice to see an organizational soldier get a shot at the big leagues, even if it's just for a brief moment.

Hats off to Scooch.
