ohhh - this reminds me - NPR last week had a mention on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me that the military has requested soldiers rerfrain from audible farting

as it offends muslims ... some comic made the comment - "don't ask don't smell" - ... it was pretty funny - one soldier was quoted as saying it's the one fun thing they get to do ... heh
