I'm a naysayer - and I loved the books but I don't think it's a " book v series" problem - they just went too far left field

the sookie magical powers, the fairies, sam & his brother - so much to not like.
they get the love triangle stuff spot on though. and I continue to love Layfette.
I really may not watch next season
