Who here uses a memory foam mattress? Do you like it? Groupon (Quebec) seems to have a decent deal for a smallish company that sells them

fwiw, the Sealy we got at Sam's Club with the memory foam top was substantially less than that.

Just the mattress I think. But I don't care much about the frame, I'd get a cheap one at Ikea and just hide it

FWIW, I think having a somewhat elevated bed is supposed to be better for the back

I'm 27, I've decided I'll wait a little before I find things are too high or too low to get into! :) -- nm

I've become certain that having that little bit of extra height helps me spring up in the mornings -- nm

I don't understand how it makes a difference. You're talking about the distance from the floor? Or from the ground? Is 2nd floor better than 1st? -- nm

it's like getting out of a bean bag chair vs a dining room chair, or a really low car vs an SUV. if you are higher, it's easier to stand up from

From the floor. E.g. my mattress is a little below my knee height (I may be more sensitive to this because I'm tall). -- nm

Okay thanks for the info. So far, 8 people bought the deal. Considering the price, it seems fairly good -- nm
