or - sometimes it's ok to ask the person if they meant to be mean - because sometimes you can just take it the wrong way because you don't know them

yet ... like me :D I'd always rather ask and clear the air when I'm feeling bad about something someone says here ... for the most part - it's been me taking it the wrong way - and I feel much better afterwards.
