the one thing that i think can really help is having a decent way to hear the game.

if you play with no tv volume, you wont here the noises of others near you (running, etc).

especially in no radar games.

why a guy wearing a space suit can be heard breathing while running is beyond me, but its there, and its a trick to let you know where people are.

same with hearing weapon fire.

  - The SWAT games helped me to notice the little triangles more on the HUD for where firefights are happening. I've always tracked where teammates are - oblique Sep 8, 07:18 1
