Well the tumor was on the brain rather than in the brain, they just...(might be gross inside)

cut a slice in his skull then cranked it open to make hole they could operate through. The scar is about 12" long and looks like the seam on a baseball. From what I heard, the tumor was halfway between his ear and the top of his head, but between the skull and his brain.
