A pair of high school kids I take the bus with (one of whom I've never seen before today) seem to have come out of the closet.

The "intrigued" part of this is that I think something like this would have been inconceivable to do when I was in HS. So either these kids are being brave, or coming out is a more normal thing to do for HS kids today. Keep in mind this is an arts high school in liberal Santa Monica.
Also, I could be seeing things/assuming... but they were holding hands an petting each other.
