Crap. The Boston Globe started it's online subscription service today ($3.99/wk).

And they've changed the look. Even with the sharing of stories with its parent (NY Times) it's kept a distinct identity. Now it looks like a NYT clone. The Globe online has been my #1 news outlet because I liked the writing and style. (The Cincinnati paper is very amateur in comparison.) At least Boston.com will still be free and have stories from the new Globe site. I'll see how that goes. Crap.
