Actually I believe that a lot of the same number and color then to continue as the guy throwing the ball (if having done it a long time) tends to have

a muscle memory that will tend to make his launch of the marble very consistent and the landing on the wheel less statistically random than the idea of true random number would suggest.
Read a study about it somewhere years ago (friend works for a casino) and its something they try to teach the guys to NOT do but well it happens
