I look at it this way, the fans are basically who are paying your salaries. You have to be grateful to them for letting you do what you do and live

the life you live. That doesn't mean they should be able to be disrespectful of your time, but you do owe them the courtesy of appreciating the fans. Frankly I think those that do "get" that, have much better relationships with their fans and I think more freedom generally.
