yeah, that would be a very bad thing. These family members are Maronite. They get very pissed at being confused with Muslims.

They consider themselves Arab, and to them that is not synonymous with Muslim.
They get especially pissed off at anti-Muslim sentiment that gets directed against themselves.
This applies mainly to the older generation, with one or two exceptions.
