Because Refurbished Dave really wants to learn and listen to the brain trust (here is the exact financial situation)

I do want to know what some smart fiscal minds that I beleive in here think so here is the details.
Cassie contributed about 1700 in cash a month to the marriage. My income alone payed all of our bills with some left over each paycheck. Her money was extra paid to bills and all our gas food and entertainment.
We divorce and I lose her income but I also divest myself of the following bills:
Health insurance = 300
Car payment = 300
Tolls = 60ish
Nails each month = 40
Hair 1x amonth = 60ish
Her credit card = 130
Her Gas = 300
My settlement when it gets here is 18K approx
I am setting 2500 aside to do a few things. After 2 years and 2 surgeries I am going to do a few things I want. I know its not the most responsible thing BUT I need to do that after all the pain and the 6 months laid off. I want the money for a little fun and to put in savings just in case someting on the car dies or whatever.
Will pay off
Credit card 1 (10k) frees up 300-320 a month
Credit card 2 (2300) frees up 100 a month
Credit Card 3 (500) frees up 166 a month
Credit card 4 (350) frees up 50 a month
So in the end I am freeing up about 1826 in income. While losing about 1800 in income (her)
To me that is a wash and I should be able to do gas, food entertainment and extra bill pay down with 1800. I have a bonus coming in DEC and Tax refund march - that should clear another credit card (250 a month)
So I dont think the 36 for a bed i need is bad - but I guess if I am missing something you guys could sport it
