and obviously, the closer the antenna to the sky and not indoors, the better (www.amazon.com)

  - in most cases yes. colin, did you also check antennaweb for the proper class of antenna you need? Sometimes boosters make things worse too -- nm - oblique Sep 13, 07:35 1
    - i did, and purchased the correct class for my region. also tried with/without. it works better if i'm touching it or set it on a pile of metal :) - colin Sep 13, 07:38
