Hey Capstern, I could use some money. It's only be $100 a month for say, 6 months. I can you hook me up with that? Just cancel the life insurance

Beryllium hit the nail on the head with "motive". Cancel the insurance. If something happens to her in the near after recently divorcing, guess

Even if it did, it would go into her estate and go to her heirs.

I'd keep yours. If you try to get that much again you will end up paying more. And hopefully you will find someone eventually to be your beneficiary.

That is true. I got it like 8 years ago and I should never need a phsyical again unless I try to change it.

your work coverage is likely subsidized. I'd keep that as well. how much can it cost; $6 per month? -- nm

I had thought about leaving it to a friend I trust as executor of my estate to help my mom and my daughter and then give to charity

and if it makes you feel better, I haven't had a week off from both jobs in about 8 years. I'd really like a vacation and money would help with that.
