I suggest that of anyone going through a life change (divorce, death, birth) but I think in your case it could really help. TT is not really the best place to run ideas like this by.

I don't have any clue where you are from, but every state has the CFP designation. Find the list for your state and find a fee-only CFP. That way you will get one that doesn't get kickbacks from investment products.
