Baby story of the day (facebook spoilers)

My son (almost 10 months) is not yet a crawler or a walker. Today, though, he seems to have figured out how to scootch on his bum. His motivation? The cat sprawled out by the wall heater. Imagine a very klutzy inchworm with about 10 times more overall movement than forward progress.

But later, I placed him on the floor in the bathroom. He immediately rotated towards the cabinets and started scootching towards them.

Hmmm, Firefox doesn't like "scootch."

Its loss.
