I think that was possibly one of the most horrifying moments of my life.

at a girlfriend's parents place, meeting them for the first time, go to the bathroom, pee, flush, toilet starts rising, rising, rising. me: "oh god no! stop! oh please stop! I didn't do anything!" I turned the water off, and discovered , and the water in the bowl slowly went down. I turn the water back on, wash my hands, walk out and pretend like nothing untoward happened.
told the girlfriend about it later, she laughed her ass off.
