so here is my political question of the day.

obama is leaving the campaign for two days (thurs and friday) to be with his maternal grandmother because she is very ill.

does McCain rein in Palin/others from the heavy attacking and personalesque attacks?

I could see the Republicans attacking obama, and obama being able to simply say that he was with one of the most important figures in his life while she was very ill, etc and turning it around on the republicans.

that move will not matter to all the decideds, but the undecided voters may be affected by that.
