The Pac12 commish has stated pretty firmly that they're not allowing in any team with it's own TV deal. Surprisingly, I believe him.

I don't see the SEC letting Texas do that either, so they either play along, accept being a big fish in the small pond of a decimated Big12, or go independant. We see how well that's gone for Notre Dame.
